Richard Wilson has presented three cases at the Inter-猫咪社区app Court of Human Rights in San Jose, Costa Rica, and authored friend-of-court briefs for the European Union in the U.S. Supreme Court, successfully arguing that international law prohibits capital punishment for juveniles and for persons with mental retardation. He is a coeditor of several textbooks on international human rights law and practice, defense in international criminal law, and international criminal law and procedure. Wilson represented Omar Khadr, including military commission proceedings that were terminated in June 2006. Khadr was a Canadian citizen who was held at Guant谩namo Bay, Cuba, from 2004 to 2007. Wilson continues to represent two other detainees with cases pending in the federal courts in Washington, D.C.
