Bio
Sydney Moore is the Costume Shop Manager and Resident Costume Designer of the Greenberg Theatre and has been a member of the shop staff since 2016.
She holds her M.F.A. in Production Design from The George Washington University and her B.A. in Theatre Design and Technology from Winthrop University. Originally from South Carolina, working in theatre has taken her across the United States, working in summer stock and regional theatres from Maine to Texas and beyond.
She has been working professionally as a costume designer, shop manager, draper, stitcher, crafts artisan, wardrobe technician, and dye artist for more than a decade. She occasionally moonlights as an interior and graphic designer when it suits her.
Locally, her work has been seen at Folger Theatre, The Library of Congress, Rorshach Theatre, Adventure Theatre, Prologue Theatre (founding artist), and many more. Nationally, she has designed for Windy City Playhouse (Chicago), Hamline University (St. Paul), and Millbrook Playhouse (Pennsylvania).
