- Bio
- Matthew Hartwell is a PhD candidate in International Relations at the 猫咪社区app University鈥檚 School of International Service. He is also a research associate with the Project on Managing the Atom at the Harvard Kennedy School鈥檚 Belfer Center and the Center for Security, Innovation, and New Technology at 猫咪社区app University鈥檚 School of International Service. Matthew鈥檚 doctoral research examines the role of population protection in 猫咪社区app nuclear strategy throughout the Cold War. His broader research interests include deterrence theory, emerging military technology, arms control, and the domestic sources of 猫咪社区app foreign policy.
