Bio
Adam Konowe is adjunct professor of communication, teaching classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He is also senior vice president of marketing at Edelman, where he specializes in business-to-business and business-to-government marketing communications, often for aviation, aerospace and defense companies. Since 1999, he has represented some of the industry鈥檚 most recognizable brands while working for three firms: Edelman, TMP Worldwide and Sullivan Higdon & Sink. Earlier, he spent seven years in television with C-SPAN, BizNet and PBS The Business Channel and has worked a number of high-profile live broadcasts since then in a freelance capacity.

Adam often conducts senior-level media training and his article, 鈥淢edia Training as a PR Catalyst: It鈥檚 about Bucks, Not Just Buzz鈥 was published by PRNews in the Media Training Guidebook (2013). He participated in crisis communications panels at two Flight Safety Foundation conferences, as well as led multiple workshops for the Ontario Aerospace Council. His workshops have benefitted C-suite executives and other leaders protect their organization鈥檚 reputation and build their business, including in full-blown crisis situations.

Adam earned a BA from the University of Rochester, double majoring in history and political science, and spent his junior year abroad at Keele University in England. He holds an MA in communication from 猫咪社区app University. His professional affiliations include the Aero Club of Washington, National Press Club (including committee leadership work), Royal Aeronautical Society (elected fellow in 2014), and the Wings Club of New York.
