Dr. Renata David

Dr. Renata Brazil David successfully earned her S.J.D. from 猫咪社区app University Washington College of Law S.J.D. in May 2010. Her dissertation was titled 鈥淎n Examination of Problematic Areas of International Commercial Arbitration from an International Perspective, and a Comparative Analysis of the Law and Practice of International Commercial Arbitration in Brazil.鈥 In 2011, Dr. Brazil David was appointed the Director of Legal Affairs for the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (ITSO). Her responsibilities include听 managing the legal issues pertaining to the organization, preparing, overseeing and acting as the Secretary of the Assembly of Parties, supporting the organization鈥檚 relations with its stake holders, and promoting its initiatives.听 She also runs the ITSO Program on International Communications Regulation and Policy at 猫咪社区app University Washington College and has been actively involved in initiatives such as the Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development, the World Economic Forum Internet for All, and the Smart Sustainable Development Model Initiative.
Dr. Brazil David has several years of experience in legal research and academia. Prior to joining ITSO, Dr. Brazil David worked as the Associate Director of the Brazil-猫咪社区app Legal and Judicial Studies Program and as an adjunct Professor at 猫咪社区app University Washington College of Law. Her fields of study and professional expertise include: International Dispute Resolution, International Arbitration, International Trade Law, the Laws of the United Kingdom, and the Laws of Brazil. Dr. Brazil David is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English, with upper intermediate abilities in French.
